Panicum virgatum 'Rubrum'
Often referred to as 'Red Prairie Switch Grass' , this Panicum will form an upright clump with delicate flowers appearing as the season progresses . We use it to give a hazy look against other perennials . Foliage tips take on a red colour as Autumn approaches and eventually all turns to a golden straw colour for Winter.
