Anemanthele lessoniana
Formerly known as Stipa arundinacea, this graceful grass hailing from New Zealand is a beauty. Growing well in most soils in either sun or part shade, Anemanthele is very attractive with its multi toned foliage and sprays of hazy flowers. As it is a an evergreen grass it does not like or need being cut back hard, instead simply combing the clump with gloved hands to remove any dead or messy foliage is enough.
